Greetings from the proverbial desk of the editors-in-chief! We’re proud to deliver another slamming print edition of The Broadside, featuring a slew of topics sure to entertain, astound and intrigue. Artificial intelligence, of course, rears its ugly head, a certain new Tea and Art Lounge is discussed, as well as the logistics behind hiking Mt. St. Helens at different times of the year. Not to mention the multimedia paranormal investigation up at Juniper Hall.
But that’s just from our staff! We also have a variety of extraneous writers and teams coming together to present you with pieces you didn’t even know you wanted. This includes an all-original poetry section, excerpts from the winning pieces of the COCC Student Writing contest, and a report from the local correctional facility Deer Ridge.
We at The Broadside can only hope that you enjoy reading our pieces as much as we loved writing them, and also hope you take part in our humble activities section! Cheers to our seniors transitioning out and for those returning in the fall, best wishes for a great summer!
