The Broadside is student operated and has published since 1953, providing timely news to Central Oregon Community College students, faculty and community members.

The Broadside is COCC’s official student news organization. We provide jobs, training and hands-on journalism experience to students. We finance the staff payroll and production costs through student fees and ad sales. We are now selling ads for our June 2026 print edition.
