The Mazama Gymnasium at Central Oregon Community College was vandalized on May 13. The words “STOP ACTA” were written on the roof of the building with an unknown medium, according to the incident report filed on May 14.
The words refer to the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, a multinational treaty that aims to establish a legal framework for targeting counterfeit goods, generic medicines and copyright infringements.
As of press time, the investigation into the incident has been suspended.
