On April 14, Central Oregon Community College hosted the Asian/Pacific Islander Festival.
The festival, located in the lower level of the Campus Center, featured performances and demonstrations, serving up food and fun for the entire family.
The festival featured a musical performance by Bill Keale, dancing performances by Redmond’s Hōkūle’a Ohana Dancers, martial arts demonstrations, crafts for children and adults and locally-catered
Japanese, Chinese, Hawaiian and Thai cuisine.
The free event was sponsored by COCC and OSU-Cascades Student Life and COCC Multicultural Center.
