Josh Ballou
The Broadside
With or without Special Sauce, G-Love rocks, and April 21 he will be live at the Domino Room.
G-Love a.k.a Garrett Dutton is a musical force that has been around since the early ā90s. He has released a total of 15
albums collectively (with and without the Special Sauce) and his current project āFixinā To Dieā was released back in
February.
āFixin To Dieā is a sassy mix of back road blues and the G-Love sound which was already eclectic.
I first heard about this show last term and I was so excited because I have never had a chance to see him live and now that is about to change.
G-Love can be linked to so many industry giants like Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson and has been to Bend several times.
The energy captured in his music can only get better live on stage and I encourage music lovers to check out this show.
Not a fan yet?
If you donāt know G-Love let me help you. G-Love is bluesy-funk, fun-loving rock with a touch of soul and so much more.
An artistās artist, G-Love has maintained a loyal following and has remained relevant and hip for the entirety of his career. His fans span all genres of music because he is an artist who isnāt afraid to incorporate different styles to influence the sound he established, refined and reinvented with each album. To put it in the simplest terms; G-Love is awesome!
You can check out his entire body of work on his website, http://philadelphonic.com. If you need tickets to check out this groovy little show you can pick them up at Ranch Records or possibly at the door the night of the show.
