What is it?
The Bite of Bend is Central Oregon’s largest food festival, hundreds of people gather each year to participate in the food and drink celebration. From Friday to Sunday, Downtown Bend will be filled with music, food, beer, events, and booths from restaurants and shops all over Central Oregon. The event is open and free to the public.

What is it?
The Central Oregon Wildflower Show is a series of botanical hikes, plant sales, lectures, local vendors, and the celebration of native flowers to central Oregon. The cost of the event is $4 for children and $6 for adults. Whether you have a love for wildflowers or you just love Central Oregon, the Wildflower show will be breathtaking.
July 4th Pet Parade & Old Fashioned Festival: 7/4/2017 10:00 AM

What is it?
Bend’s 4th of July Pet Parade is a long-standing tradition that has been going on since 1932 where local citizens and tourists gather on the streets of Downtown and Drake Park to celebrate 4th of July. The annual Lion’s Club Pancake breakfast will be held in Drake Park at 8:00 am and a decorating party will be held at 9:30 before the parade starts to decorate your bike, dog, or anyone you want to bring along to participate in the parade. The parade will start at 10:00 am, which will loop around Downtown Bend. After the pet parade, an Old Fashioned Festival will be going on down at Drake part starting at 11am and going until 4pm, with local food vendors, artisan booths, and live music. Celebrate your 4th of July right. Both events are free to the public to enter.
Bend July 4th Fireworks Spectacular: 7/4/2017 10:00 PM

What is it?
The annual 4th of July Fireworks on top of Pilot Butte starts at 10pm for almost everyone living in Bend to see. Many people camp out at parks, parking lots with clear views, and many other places. The spectacular fireworks are a short event so make sure to catch it to end your 4th of July.
Munch and Music Series: Every Thursday Evening starting 7/6/2017 and ending 8/10 5:30 PM

What is it?
The Munch and Music Series is a summertime go-to for locals, this year it will be celebrating its 27th anniversary. People gather in Drake Park to celebrate the arts, free live music, and local food vendors each week. This event is free to the public.
Summer Festival: 7/7/2017-7/9/2017

What is it?
As well as the Munch and Music series, the Summer Festival will be celebrating its 27th anniversary, hosted and advertised by the Bank of the Cascades. This festival brings in thousands of people to start off the summer. The festival offers endless numbers of booths filled with local fine art, local food, performers, and live music. This event is free to the public to enter.

What is it?
There are many different concerts held at the Les Schwab Amphitheater every summer, but this concert will likely be a highly sought out concert for people in Central Oregon. As well as Slightly Stoopid, the special guests will include Iration, J Boog, and The Movement.

What is it?
The event will be moved up in anticipation of the large amount of people flooding into Central Oregon for the Oregon Solar Eclipse, it is usually held during the third week of August. Attendees are able to taste beers that are rare and popular beers from all over Central Oregon. Getting into the event will be free, but there is a purchase required for beer tasting.

What is it?
The solar eclipse, which can be seen through the middle of Oregon, will create a high demand for viewing sites all over Central Oregon. Hotels have been booked out for over a year, campsites, state parks, and more. Central Oregon will be anticipating thousands and thousands of people coming into Central Oregon that can potentially clear shelves of grocery stores and overbook hotels. Make sure that you have supplies readily available and a place to stay.

What is it?
If you are an artist, an art lover, or just simply like attending Bend’s summer events, the Art in the High Desert show will be worth your while. This Fine Art Fair is ranked 10th in the nation by the Art Fair Sourcebook 2016. This will be the 9th year the show has been running. Join in on the celebration of artists and their work. The event is free.
