When it comes down to it, trying to study and remember a ton of facts from all of your classes can be extremely troublesome.

Trying to memorize seemingly useless facts for various required electives can take the fun right out of your day. To help with that strenuous process, there are app resources at the palm of your hand. Study apps can help with  the memorization all of those annoying busy work facts that you need to pass the class.

Quizlet is a free study program that allows you to make your own flashcards in app or website form. It is one of the most popular study apps on the market with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 on the Apple app store.

It has an easy-to-use interface and students can download other user-made flashcard sets.

There is also a paid yearly subscription for $19.99 a year which offers features like the ability to add pictures and access a variety of flash card games.

Anki is very similar to quizlet in which it allows you to make card decks and practice them. However, most people prefer Quizlet to Anki because of Quizlet’s nice and easy to use interface.

Personally, my favorite study app by far is a little know app called Memorize Anything. It is available on the Apple App store.

It allows you to record your own voice saying something, and then it repeats your recording over and over automatically until you have completely mastered it.

After using this app for a few days before a major test or quiz, I was able to excel in the class while other students were struggling. .

For example, if you wanted to memorize a fact for biology like “The Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell,” the app would record you saying it first, and it would repeat that audio recording while you relax on the couch.
