It’s that time of the year again! The 2022 Oregon WinterFest is coming up this President’s Day weekend. This time, due to the substantial growth of the festival in recent years, this three-day festival will be held at Deschutes County Expo Center in Redmond.
With the larger space, the venue will offer greater accessibility for guests and heated facilities to warm up from the winter chill.
WinterFest Hours:
Friday, February 18th, 5-10 p.m.
Saturday, February 19th, 11 a.m.- 10p.m.
Sunday, February 20th, 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
WinterFest will feature a wide variety of artists, live music, and vendors from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Guests can see the sculptures of fire, light and ice, visit the Rail Jam where snowboarders and skiers show off their skills and win prizes, and play at the learning center for families hosted by OMSI.
Children may also register online for the Kid’s Hot Cocoa Run. Kids will run from station to station, collecting cocoa ingredients and will receive a finisher ribbon for crossing the finish line. The event will be on Saturday, February 19th at noon.
