On Saturday afternoon, Santa stopped by the Old Mill in order to spread a little Christmas cheer. While his entrance was not as flashy as last year’s helicopter ride, Santa did his best to say hello and collect children’s letters, all while following COVID guidelines.
He collected the letters from two bright red mail boxes, both of which were set up by the Old Mill exclusively for letters to Santa. Santa will stop by a few more times in December. To say hi and make sure he receives letters addressed to him, start by dropping a letter in the red Christmas mailboxes in front of Ben and Jerry’s and Jimmy Johns in the Old Mill.
On future Fridays or Saturdays at 1pm, Santa will start at the north end of the Old Mill and stop by both mailboxes to pick up letters. Additional information and a fun video can also be found on the Old Mill website. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays!
