On Monday May 9th, there is going to be evidence-based suicide prevention training at Central Oregon Community College. More specifically, the training is called help question, persuade, and refer (QPR). This training is an hour and a half long, and the goal of the training is to discuss and dispel the myths around suicide, education and a confidence regarding how to intervene and connecting people to local and national resources.
This is a free training that is limited to only 30 participants. This training is from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in the Health Careers Center room 330. The link to register for the event is below.
