A brand new website and a CD set to be released thisvsummer has Central Oregon Community College studentvDrew Ledford, a.k.a. BlackGoldd, ready to make his impact on the music world.

“Let the Good Times Roll” is the title of Ledford’s debut project that should be available this summer. In production for almost a year, Ledford has poured his time, energy and talents into this project while attending COCC.

“It’s a mix of rock & soul,” says Ledford. Produced right here in Bend at C4Sound with Undertow Productions, this project offers listeners Hip-Hop Soul influenced by life in the Pacific Northwest.

Songs like “Northwest Girls” show the local pride this community embraces. This song is easily the standout on the album. The mellow laid-back groove and auto-tuned vocals of Ledford make this song a soon to be classic here in the Pacific Northwest.

Passionate about his musical growth and his community, you can usually find Ledford traversing the campus interacting with a wide mix of the study body. Personable and upbeat, Ledford has the right attitude to make moves in this business with the right promotion.

Ledford is currently talking with investors and considering his distribution options and investing time in perfecting his new website, BlackGoldd.com.

This project is very commercial, ready to hit the radio today. It has the synth-pop sound that is dominating pop and soul currently on the radio.

Not afraid to explore lyrical vocals as well as more traditional rap, “Let the Good Times Roll” has a solid balance of street cred for the fellas and a sensitivity that all the “Northwest Girls” will appreciate.

If you want to check out Ledford’s skills, check out www.BlackGoldd.com, click “Current Album” and then find Drew Ledford.
