With finals week coming up, making time for self care while studying for exams can be stressful. To combat this, ASCOCC is bringing Stress Free Finals events to all COCC campuses. The free events range from relaxing chair massages to de-stressing with pet-a-pup therapy.

From Friday March 10 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, March 19 at 6 p.m., students can enjoy events including coffee and snacks at the library, students vs. staff basketball, and more. Organizer Lindsay Buccafurni, COCC’s assistant director of Student Life, said, “It’s a great opportunity for students to get some energy out and just have a little relief before those big exams because it’s a really stressful time.”

“We’re really excited to be partnering with a few different organizations for this event including the Student Government as well as bringing therapy dogs to the campus, so if you are a dog lover, you can lower your stress levels by petting a puppy,” Buccafurni said.
