Last Saturday, Bendites embraced their favorite flannel outfits for the first ever Flannel Fest hosted by Midtown Yacht Club. The festival took place on February 4, at Midtown Yacht club from noon to 7 p.m.

Participants brought donations of warm clothes, gloves, sleeping bags and staple pantry items. 100% of proceeds went to the Bethlehem Inn homeless shelter.

For every winter warmer a participant brought, a ticket was provided to them to enter the raffle. Brewery-branded flannel shirts were raffled every half hour, accompanied by beverages and food truck specials. No entry ticket was needed, though donations were encouraged.

The “winter warmer ales” included beverages like the Imperial Maple Brown from Boneyard Beer, Perry pear cider from Double Mountain Brewing & Cider, Barrel-aged Winter Coat from Stormbreaker Brewing, and the Golden Delish Imperial from Avid Cider, all served hot.
