COCC closed admissions early this Spring term

Due to a growing number of registrations, Central Oregon Community College closed its Spring term admissions on March 21, 2011, one week before the beginning of the term.

Between 1,600 and 3,200 enrolled students were unable to register for courses in the last two years at COCC.

“COCC has grown from about 4,200 students per quarter to 7,500 in the current term,” according to a COCC press release. “By closing off admissions early, COCC is able to better serve students already admitted but not yet in classes.”
