How do COCC students feel about Mt. Bachelor being up for sale?
Bend’s beloved mountain, Mt. Bachelor was listed for sale after Powdr Corp announced they would be selling it along with three other resorts in late August. With COCC being so close to the mountain, many of its students take advantage of the incredible skiing and snowboarding that it has to offer. The students shared their thoughts about the future of the mountain and whether they prefer a local group of Bend residents to buy it or a national corporation.
