As fall sets in, many are looking forward to colder weather and the return of snow sports and powder adventures at Mt. Bachelor.

The following are the new COVID-19 guidelines for the mountain and the lodge.

Wear face coverings always around the resort, which includes:

  • Parking lots
  • All base areas
  • Ticket and rental lines
  • Lift mazes and while loading/exiting lifts
  • Indoors (except while seated to eat and drink)

You will find an increase in sanitizing stations in the resort, along with increased daily cleaning and new COVID-19 signage.

There will be a limited single day, dated tickets sold to reduce and manage the numbers of people. There will be an increase in blackout days on Ikon Base Pass, 12-day and 4-day pass. In addition, there will be a limit on 4-day passes sold.

Due to physical distancing the capacity of the buses will be reduced.

Online car parking reservations: Car reservations will help track and manage overall resort visitation levels.

To minimize contact, there will be no all-day or daily group ski school lessons. Gravity Sports Ski and Ride School will offer modified half-day multi-week programs for kids and pre-booked private lessons. There will also be no beginner lessons or lessons for youth ages six and under. There will be no childcare services at our Daycare Center.

To reduce the number of people in the lodge, expect to be based out of your vehicles, booting up, warming up, and refueling. The lodge will offer some food service, but the lodge’s menu will be simplified and occupancy will be limited. Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort does intend to have outdoor food services, including Egan’s Outpost food cart.

Gravity Sports Retail shop will maintain regular operating hours throughout the winter season, offering a full range of products; however, inside access will be limited. Rentals will be limited this year, with pre-arrival reservations required.

Those who had 19/20 passes, a voucher for winter 20/21 was loaded onto a guest profile account back in April.
