The Bend Film Festival is back, showcasing independent films from all over the world.

With over 90 films, panels, guest speakers and other events, “It’s a great opportunity to see films that may not receive a wide release,” Says Orit Schwartz, Artistic Director at BendFilm.

Schwartz also shared that several of the panels and events will be free to the public. The celebration of independent cinema starts October 6th through October 9th. Ticket prices start at $11 per film online and $12 at the door.

Prices for all access passes vary and more information can be found at BendFilm’s website.

With over 40 sponsors this year and films showing at five locations, the Bend Film Festival is showing a continual tie to the community in its eighth year.

Volunteers and employees have done their part by screening hundreds of hours of film submissions, taking charge of tickets or production, and lending a hand in guest services.

If you would like to volunteer, go to www.BendFilm.org and take a quick survey to find out how you can get involved.
