Broadside Receives Regional Journalism Awards

The Broadside, the campus newspaper of Central Oregon Community College and Oregon State University – Cascades, in Bend, received seven awards for journalist excellence at the finals of the Society of Professional Journalists Region 10 Conference, held on March 30-31 in Tacoma, Wash.

The awards and recipients are:

Best All-Around Non-Daily Student Newspaper
• Second Place: The Broadside, Central Oregon Community College
